Following her sensational Autumn/Winter 2012 collection, there felt like no better time to release the final fashion film of our Object Fetish series examining Mary Katrantzou's lampshade skirt from spring 2011. Modelled by Raquel Zimmermann and captured for posterity by Nick
Knight in the glistening atriums of Selfridges & Co. London (where, coincidentally, you can currently pick some Katrantzou blooms of your own from her spring 2012 range), this is a glance back at a key point in the career of a young talent who has rocketed to stardom over the past twelve months. Not so much a name to watch, as a star already well on her ascent.

In Your Face: Void of Course, Two Day Residency

The London based collaborative force Void Of Course are now settled and well into their two day residency at SHOWstudio, live streaming from 10:30 GMT today, Wednesday 22nd February and Thursday 23rd February.

Answering your questions for the entirety of their stay Sean Antony Moran and Chris Sutton, along with their assistant Peter, have already given us an insight into their dream celebrity client (Gillian Anderson), designing a corset over an iPhone, their views on London Fashion Week and why there is a gas masked baby doll in their SHOWstudio home. Enter your questions here for the consideration of the legendary design duo and the chance to win a Void Of Course tee shirt.

Stay tuned to their 'performance portrait' to see every stage of their creative process as they create a unique head piece and garment for SHOWstudio. Inspired by Francis Bacon, Hiroshima, sex dolls and Buffalo Bill, Sean and Chris will transform several metres of elastic, liquid latex, crystals and a pair of rubber breasts into a darkly beautiful erotic fantasy fuelled by self surgery and mental deterioration.

Day before the show. Another nuit blanche. Another 4.30am digital depression. I want to drop the hotel electronic clock down the loo. Collection on schedule and gathering strength as it begins to get worked into - mixed, layered, ordered into sequence. Michel Goubert is his visionary self and gives us his seal of approval. Stephen is here in spirit and we feel his smile. Karl is on glittering form and enjoying his 007 video glasses that nobody knows about. I spotted the strange tool box that Sebastian was carrying to his hotel room last night.

Now launched exclusively on SHOWstudio in sync with the London Fashion Week menswear collections is photographer and filmmaker Jez Tozer's fashion film series LEO. Compiled from six parts, each styled by Anna Trevelyan, the films takes a fresh look at contemporary male fashion, using catwalk and specially-commissioned pieces from the likes of Mugler, Walter Van Beirondonck, Nasir Mazhar and Void of Course. Inspired by the performances of aerialist Leo Hedman, each film depicts a different emotional state or world, modeled and performed by body artist Isamaya Ffrench. Art directed by Alun Davies, this provocative series offers an exciting exploration of some of this seasons key looks, invigorated by incredible performance, beautiful styling and tight-concept narrative.

Meadham Kirchoff's disco défilé

To a soundtrack that included a track we have waited our life to hear at a fashion show -Mariah Carey's All I Want For Christmas- and closing with Abba's Dancing Queen, Meadham Kirchoff showed a fiesta of a collection today which just so happens to be Mardi Gras. With models racing past at a similar speed to Autumn/Winter 2011's cultish parade, the show was a brilliant blur of tinsel, disco lights, saturated tartans and sequins.

Day 3. Couldn't sleep. Every time I closed my eyes it was as though I was looking at my hair underwater or strands of seaweed. Then the mutating faces which morph and stretch and mouth but soundlessly - a sort of Dickensian cast of characters. Karl arrives tonight. It will be a long day.

A touching tribute to his close friend and collaborator Thelma Speirs, Peter Jensen's latest collection saw a troupe grey-bobbed models each emerge showcasing a graphic and appealing mix of shift dresses, A-line coats and shirt collars. Besides the hair, other Speirs facsimiles included headphones slung at ease around the neck and a modish mix of chic and wit.

Joining a band of Easterly-facing designers growing as collections month continues, Osman Yousefzada today presented a collection that developed his trademark examinations of sculptural volumes this time through leather and Chinoiserie brocades. A distinct sense of protection, even aggression was hinted at through hoods and capes but was tempered with a more tranquil sense of sensuality and ornament in a collection both refined and defined.

From 22nd February legendary design duo Void of Course take up a two day residency at SHOWstudio HQ for the next in our series of live streams for 'In Your Face’. Interacting directly with each viewer, they will be answering your questions through SHOWstudio.com and creating two unique garments.

London based brand Void of Course is a collaborative project of Belfast born Sean-Anthony Moran and Dubliner Chris Sutton, creating art, fashion and film with their own unique visceral results. The term ‘Void of Course' describes a moment in the lunar cycle where the moon moves into a new aspect, a time notoriously associated with a sense of detachment, melancholy and a loosening grip of reality. We expect a similar force to be gripping SHOWstudio, regardless of where the moon finds itself on 22nd and 23rd February.

Inspired by Francis Bacon and Buffalo Bill, our upcoming live stream will explore notions of self-surgery and mental deterioration. Expect nothing less than liquid latex, wire, lace and crystals as they put together a dark but beautiful fantasy. Chris Sutton and Sean-Anthony Moran will unleash their unique blend of erotica and obscurity to create what they have described as a 'performance portrait'. Chris will be creating a headpiece and Sean working on an accompanying garment, at the same time they will be answering your questions. The resulting garments and answers are yet unimaginable, but it will certainly be an event to tune in to.

Fred Butler Autumn/Winter 2012/13

Characteristically colourful and executed with increasingly slick craftsmanship, Fred Butler's short and sweet presentation at Somerset House's portico rooms featured intricately woven candy-hued tubing, signature origami folds and knitted gloves in a cropped-and-chubby shape we have seen on several occasions this week. Uncovered hands were themselves accessorised with carnivalesque nails by Marian Newman.
