We've been shadowing Louise Goldin and her team for nearly five months, recording the various stages of the realisation of her Autumn/Winter 2009 collection. The 25-look collection was finally unveiled to press and buyers on Monday afternoon and we were there to capture the final piece of the proverbial puzzle.... [more]

Is it day five? Maybe you know better than me. Unfortunately, the combination of sleep deprivation, mild malnourishment and the packed London schedule (and they say we don't need five days?!) have resulted in a mild case of strep throat, thus my conspicuous blog absence this morning. But take heart!... [more]

Continuing out commitment to pioneering 'moving fashion' we will be showcasing a selection of films created by London based designers, over the couple of days.... [more]

Ever rushed home from a family holiday to tape the coverage of the haute couture collections? I did in 1999 for Galliano's famous, infamous and downright fabulous Autmn/Winter collection for Dior. Think Matrix meets bloodsports crossed with the Raj and you get an inkling. Here is Stephen Jones' ferrociously fantastic... [more]

Long-term collaborator Giles Deacon is one of many guests eager to congratulate the milliner. Deacon headed straight to the V&A after his own show which this season incorporated Jones' leather and suede flyer saucer hats.

There is no 'official' dress code tonight, but really everyone realises millinery is obligotry. The V&A set the standard high, as beautifully illustrated here by Melanie and Laura.

It's virtually impossible to attend every event during London Fashion Week. Luckily we've been sent over a selection of pictures from photographer Matt Irwin's 'Punk. Perfect. Awful' exhibition opening held on Friday night. Guests included models Liberty Ross and Alice Dellal and designer Gareth Pugh, taking a well-deserved break from... [more]

Dear Sissel,
The Violence 2 is a lot more interesting than the first prototype.

'Awful' is seldom a word used by any aspiring photographer to describe their work, but neverthless it's one of just three adjectives chosen by Matt Irwin for his latest solo exhibition - the other being, perhaps more understandably, 'Punk' and 'Perfect'. For a magazine monikered 'Love', could there be a better occasion for launch than Valentine's day? A difficulty that arises in promoting Fashion Film vis-à-vis editorial is the tricky question of credits. To have, or not to have? To write, or not to write?
