Day One from Copenhagen
This, the first installment in a series of Copenhagen Fashion Week photo montages, plays like a who’s who of Scandinavian fashion. Featuring Icelandic designer Steinunn, Editor of Euroman Chris Pedersen, stylist Sassie Baré and the Producer of Copenhagen Fashion Week, Thomas Hargreave, the video was pieced together in the wee hours of the morning by artist Sergei Sviatchenko. We have been told by Twin that the montage will accrue more layers of content with each day of the shows so we'll keep you updated on tomorrow's developments.
Well done to the Twins, I say! That beats red-carpet 'and who are you wearing?'-style reporting as offered by most of the other fashion week film crews. The more broken up and montaged, the better. Shows go on a bit when you don't really know who it is you're seeing (witness the braindeath of Fashion TV for instance), but little graphic fragments really do the job, I find.
Are they keeping this up for the full week?
