Paris’ first annual fashion film festival, curated by influential blogger Diane Pernet, is currently accepting submissions for this year's contest. The traveling presentation of short films, showcased last year at the Jeu de Paume in Paris, calls on innovative film makers with a passion for fashion and the moving image to submit entries, including documentaries as well as features, which use fashion, beauty and/or style as the principal subject, theme or cinematic aesthetic. Last year a jury of esteemed professionals from the worlds of the arts, cinema, fashion and media awarded prizes to three film makers - including Grand Prize to Camille Vivier's Political Fashion film Jenny Haniver, and a Special Mention to Peter Jensen's contribution to our Future Tense project.
The submission deadline is the 30 June 2009. The criteria states that films should be no longer then five minutes and are accompanied by a short bio of the director, a short synopsis of the film and a selection of jpeg stills.
