PORTENT New Fashion Film Launched!
Our latest fashion film, Portent, is an exclusive short created by Nick Knight for thecorner.com, the virtual 'department store' launched by YOOX group. Marking the introduction of womenswear to thecorner.com's already impressive menswear roster, this video short presents Autumn/Winter 2009-10 fashion for men and women from Maison Martin Margiela, Haider Ackermann, Viktor & Rolf, Rick Owens and more. A delicate exploration of romantic Classicism through the male and femal form, styled by Simon Foxton and Jonathan Kaye and with extravagant setpieces devised by Michael Howells, this film uses fashion itself to express an allegorical love-story between man and woman - simultaneously showcasing exquisite clothing from a raft of the world's finest designers.
