Today marks the launch of our second batch of video portraits, documenting the actors, designers, stylists and models that sat for Nick Knight on 2 December 2009 in an intimate and revealing series of portraits for i-D magazine.

Our latest sitters include Alana Zimmer, Chris Amfo-Okoampah, Emma Summerton, Giles Deacon, James Buckley, Joe and Duke Brooks, Katie Eary, Katie Grand, Kirsten Owen, Richard Mortimer and Gwendoline Christie.

Each Wednesday at 15:00 BST, SHOWstudio.com will launch a new selection of video portraits captured on a specific date, the series as a whole documenting not only this ground-breaking live shoot but a slice of twenty-first century popular culture.

    It's fascinating to see how different people react to being photographed. Some are so uncomfortable the tension is practically visible. I also like the mix between the great, the good, and the unknown. Building up into an interesting series already.

    Katie Grand is immense! I love her cock-feather headdress so much. Great to see she styles herself just as well as a fashion shoot.

    Wonderful videos, concise and delicate. They complement the printed issue so well - even though I missed the live shoot itself, this just creates so much depth to the work as a whole. Look forward to next week!
