New Project Launched!

A classic Antony Price sketch taken from the programme for his 1983 'Fashion Extravaganza'

A labour of love for all concerned, today marks the launch of our latest SHOWstudio project - Antony Price: For Your Pleasure. Regarded as the designer's designer and revered by talents from Stephen Jones to Vivienne Westwood to Christopher Kane, we are thrilled to be able to examine the life and work of one of fashion's all-time greats. Exploring forty years of fashion creation, from his seminal boutique designs and high-octane catwalk extravaganzas to made-to-measure modern couture, via a key role in the postmodern marriage of fashion and music, this project lays bare the career of a bona fide legend.

With unprecedented access to Antony Price's archive of original artworks and designs - alongside the man himself - For Your Pleasure launches with a selection of press, a profile of the man himself and original archive sketches spanning Price's glittering career, many seen for the first time. Over the course of the project, new sections will launch as we will unpick the bombshell seams of Price's four decades in the rag trade through video libraries, interviews and the latest original addition to our Design_Download series. Finally, the project will come to a head in Spring 2009 with a sensational final flourish worthy of Price's love - and mastery - of theatre and fashion spectacle.

An unabashed exercise in fully-justified hero-worship, we are proud to present Antony Price: For Your Pleasure.
