The last installment of SHOWstudio’s Flora series sees stylist Anna Trevelyan and photography duo Meinke Klein collaborate on a new GIF project, In Bloom. The London-based stylist is a long time fan of the photographic duo and sought to collaborate with them on an initiative which would fuse fashion and moving imagery. The project sees floating models decked in cute collars and fancy frocks by the likes of Simone Rocha, Meadham Kirchhoff, Erdem and Dries Van Noten, while surrounded by whirling twirling blossoms. The motion for the animated GIFs was inspired by the movements of roller-coasters, indoor waterslides and Alice’s (in Wonderland) tumble down the dreaded rabbit hole.
