For his debut catwalk collection for Alfred Dunhill, Kim Jones' aim was to reinforce the label's roots in Britishness. Describing the look as "Classic modern," Jones presented a collection that paid homage to the brand. Many of the press were suprised that the collection lacked Jones' personality and quirky approach to design, but he has certainly given the brand a new focus and judging by the packed audience, many were keen to see the new direction. Form and function were clearly the starting point for the collection which was focused on the suit and its various incarnations.
