An oriental-occidental garment emerges
LiveStudio

Using Edward Steichen's 1940 image of a vase of flowers and Wong Kar Wai's In The Mood for Love as inspiration, Carine is arranging the final flowers in her embellished kimono-déshabillé. Indeed, the oriental-occidental garment emerging is distinctly reminiscent of many of Steichen's most sensually iconic images, not least his lace-veiled Gloria Swanson of 1924. Characteristically sensual, but made from a more vivid selection of colours than those that usually comprise her lingerie, the composition of lace and silk is designed to resemble the creation of a bouquet. Keep watching and posing questions for Carine as final touches are put to a unique garment made through a passionate (and patient) process.
