Andrew Davis talks punk!

Andrew Davis, men's fashion director of Wonderland magazine, is the latest fashion insider to talk punk with Lou Stoppard as part of our ongoing candid phone call series, Punk: On The Runway.

Davis cites Alexander McQueen's Autumn/Winter 1996 collection, entitled Dante, as his ultimate punk memory. Davis recalls sneaking into the show, which was set in Spitalfields' Hawksmoor's Christchurch, by pretending to be someone's boyfriend whilst he was still a student at Central Saint Martins. He remembers the atmosphere and tension that was created in the venue, through beautiful organ music that was later drowned by violent gunfire, and how the narrative of the show swept him away.

Listen now to hear Andrew Davis describe the full rapture of McQueen's Dante.
