Birds Eye View film festival, opens tomorrow at the BFI London

Tomorrow Wednesday 9 March the Bird's Eye View film festival returns to London with its latest exploration of fashion and film in Fashion Loves Film: Art & Commerce. Curated by fashion filmmaker Kathryn Ferguson, who has collaborated with fashion industry favorites such as Richard Nicoll and the British Fashion Council, the evening's program showcases work by Julie Verhoeven, KT Auleta, and favourite and recent In Fashion interviewee Ruth Hogben. Hogben's work was previously included in the festival in 2009, her return marking an opportunity to see the evolution of not just individual talent but fashion film as a whole during this period. Screenings will be immediately followed by a panel discussion with Ferguson, Verhoeven and Jaime Perlman, the celebrated art director at British Vogue. With a roster this talented, those in attendance are bound to leave inspired.
