Bringing up the curtain on today's shoot!

Thick red brocade drapes and an arching proscenium are traditionally elements of the theatre, not a fashion shoot - but our shoot today is anything but traditional. Rather than producing a photographic editorial story for a magazine, Nick Knight's latest shoot harnesses the medium of the internet (naturally) to create a Fashion Film showcasing fashion from the likes of Maison Martin Margiela, Haider Ackermann, Ann Demeulemeester and Sophia Kokosalaki. Harnessing the talents of Ruth Hogben behind the lens, Michael Howells' inimitable eye to create the mise-en-scène, and Simon Foxton and Jonathan Kaye to style mens and womenswear respectively, the film will launch later this summer on SHOWstudio and thecorner.com to mark the latter's first foray into women's fashion. We're still setting up for our first shot, but once the curtain is raised we'll be blogging from the studio floor as this unique shoot unfolds. If you simply can't wait that long, our ever-active SHOWstudio twitter feed will report all the action, live bite-sized, as it happens.
