Up for just a few more days in New York is a must-see exhibition nestled in the heart of The National Arts Club's antiquated Spring street digs. Chief curator and chair of the Club, Stacy Engman, has literally pulled off a bit of proverbial magic by coaxing some of the world's most exciting creatives to craft original artworks for her latest exhibition, aptly titled Contemporary Magic. The 78 pieces that make up the beautifully hung show each represent a different Tarot card plucked from an original deck made by a different artist. With each artists' aesthetic matched with their cards, you've naturally got Tony Oursler creating the happiness of the Six of Pentacles, Kenny Scharf representing the Ace of Pentacles' abundance, and our very own founder and director, Nick Knight, capturing The World (he's never less than ambitious). And with just four days left until this dynamic pack of cards comes down, we think everyone stateside should head on over to Lower Manhattan. Given that the other artists mingling in this dynamic pack of cards include John Currin, Marc Jacobs, Rashid Johnson, and Dame Vivienne Westwood we're pretty sure the 78 bits of 7 x 10 inch paper will orbit around you.
