Death: Rose Robson - the sculpture is taking shape
Rose Robson's Murder of Crows sculpture is taking on a tangible form as she stitches the various magpie, grouse, mallard and pheasant wings to the wood wool base. The visual references are plentiful, shown most obviosuly in the composition's references to Dutch Vanitas - apt given that Robson has recently began to study this area of art. The taxidermy action continues this afternoon as Robson puts the final touches to her swarm-inspired sculpture.
