Elle's Rebecca Lowthorpe talks punk

ELLE fashion features director Rebecca Lowthorpe is the latest industry figure to give Lou Stoppard her own personal punk memory for our ongoing interview series, Punk: On The Runway. The fashion writer shares a very special fashion memory by opening up about her experiences of modelling in an Alexander McQueen show. Then just a young journalist, Lowthorpe appeared in McQueen's now famous A/W 1994 Banshee collection clad in a plaster of paris bodice. Hear her discuss the backstage mood of the show and the emotions of wearing a McQueen creation now!

Alongside our chat with Lowthorpe, we've also conducted punk interviews with The Independent fashion editor Alex Fury and Arena Homme Plus editor Max Pearmain. Launching shortly will be interviews with The Telegraph's Lisa Armstrong, Style.com's Nicole Phelps, NOWFASHION's Jessica Michault and freelance journalist and fashion consultant Melanie Rickey.
