Exclusive S/S 2010 online video NOW LIVE!
We are proud to exclusively premiere Gareth Pugh's latest video installation, in a launch timed to coincide with the exact moment his films are shown to the international fashion press as part of New York's M·A·C & Milk. An art-cum-fashion film that outlines the inspirations for his forthcoming S/S 2010 collection, Pugh's video piece - his second collaboration with filmmaker Ruth Hogben - is inspired by the four elements of earth, wind, fire and water. In the New York installation, these four films are projected onto a monolithic cube designed by Simon Costin and set against a soundtrack devised by artist Matthew Stone. Accordingly, our online experience of Pugh's films offers an interactive viewing in the form of a 'virtual' cube, allowing the audience to navigate through Pugh's elemental play and catch a filmic glimpse of the vision he will unleash on the Paris catwalks later this month.
In tandem with the video's online presence on SHOWstudio.com, we will shortly reveal a unique item - created by Pugh himself and featured in one of the films - which will be offered for sale in the SHOWstudio SHOP very soon.
