Gareth Pugh S/S 2007 Film Launch!

Braving the photographer's 'pit' on Tuesday afternoon at the London Fashion Week tent, our cameraman and video editor Harry Hanrahan and studio assistant Anna Gudbrandsdottir managed to maintain prime positions, enabling them to capture Gareth Pugh's eagerly awaited S/S '07 show in its entirety. Providing two angles, the film incorporates full-frontal catwalk views of Gareth's fantastical creations as they make their way down Simon Costin's 'floating' runway alongside interesting detail shots of both the garments and the audience (keep an eye out for the flash of the SHOWstudio picture phone!). This film will now join footage of Pugh's previous three London Fashion Week shows as well as his self-styled advert for HSBC.

    Thanks for the film.
    Stunning.
Pieces from a chess set in another dimension.
Proof that the future does exist and that culture is not doomed to reiterating marie antoinette.

makes me want to create huge coats of black and white. I want to walk on a cloud of his designs.

Really am sorry to spoil the whole Gareth Pugh post-fashion week "thing"[for a lack of a better word. But I feel that Leigh Bowery did this stuff way before this kid was born, and in what way does he or the cronies that are pretencious enough to support him appropriate the fact that the future was Bowery PESONIFIED?in spirit i mean.If this is what london has to offer the "future" i am worried...Humanity is the future.
