It's a dirty business

Having fully updated all the day's antics in our Paris Fashion Week project, I leave you with one of my favourite images from this frantic and frenetic fourth day: Jean-Paul Gaultier's dirt-splattered catwalk following his screaming, hair-pulling mud-wrestling catfight finale to the tune of 'Relax'. You couldn't make it up, really.

    This new way of organizing the fashion weeks-reports is really working! Though I loved (and miss) the mobilevideo-reports from Penny Martin, this combination of immediately comments on twitter and the main blog and then later on a full review on the project-page seems to work just perfect! As far as I know showstudio is now the fastest deliver of reports right now!
    The time aspect in fashion is truly special (not taking about the eighties revival) in every way...
    Makes me wonder: is there any designer working outside these busy schedules?

    hi tor,
    I'm hoping my throat will be better soon and I can even make a few myself without sounding like kim carnes (there's an eighties throwback any designer would be proud of!)
    There are a few off-schedulers this season and a few showrooms rather than shows: this afternoon, for example, I'm off to visit Boudicca up in Montparnasse.
    Glad you're enjoying. Fingers crossed I can keep up the pace!

    I have to agree. Almost no need to go to the shows anymore especially on very wet sundays; I love the 'spur of the moment' comments and the final report is worthy of the most professional fashion magazine;
    congratulations Alex and my admiration for Chris Moore who must be peer with Lagerfeld and is just as busy. puts us youngons to shame:-)

    Unfortunately not to my knowledge. Check out our show report and Chris Moore's fantastic image gallery - it was a blinder!
