London-based illustrator Jowy Maasdamme continues her coverage of Paris Fashion Week Autumn/Winter 2013.
Her unique aesthetic of corpse-like women were an ideal template for Gareth Pugh's haunting gothic collection, presented yesterday in an old Rothschild mansion. The drawings paid homage to the intricate detailing, which featured bin liners and bedraglled hair.
Also pencilled by Maasdamme was Nicola Formichetti's latest designs for the Mugler house. A hooded model was drawn with a skeletal figure to give depth and drama to the representation of the collection.
