Kathryn Ferguson and Selfridges join forces for International Women's Day

'Women need to support one another,' says acclaimed filmmaker Kathryn Ferguson, adding, 'strong female role models need to be represented far and wide within film.'

We're thrilled that this fashionable feminist has joined forces with retail powerhouse Selfridges to celebrate International Women's Day with a dynamic short that showcases inspirational female role models. Four-Tell, which stars Zaha Hadid, Sharmadean Reid, Caryn Franklin and Bella Freud, explores all different facets of womanhood, using four different personalities to unpick everything from being a career-driven woman to the importance of female role models in our society today.

The film also promotes Selfridges' new Bespoke Department, so the quartet are showing off their distinctive sense of style in clothes made-to-measure by master tailor Henry Rose, heritage cashmere label Hawick and shirt and tie maker Charvet.

Watch the film exclusively on SHOWstudio now, or read journalist Phoebe Frangoul's rousing essay on female role models.
