Kiki Georgiou's final reports from LFW pour in

Kiki Georgiou’s lastest show reports from London Fashion Week are in!

From the crazy cheers to the Hitchcock’s Psycho, Georgiou’s reviews on Louise Gray, Fashion East, Christopher Kane, ErdemPeter Pilotto and Burberry Prorsum are well worth the read.

The energy and excitement of the London collections comes through in Georgiou’s quirky conversational style. Her report on the much anticipated Louise Gray collection, titled ‘Hey Crazy’, notes that, 'the only crazy thing about it was how seriously good it was'. When reflecting honestly she acknowledging that in fact there were some crazy bits such as the nylon carrier bag hats by Stephen Jones, the loo roll accessorised coat, silver cupcake case earrings and roasting tray bum bags.

The crazy fun seemed to continue at Fashion East with a report that highlighted the contrast between show endings where some conclude 'in a rather anticlimactic way [with] the odd sad clap breaking the silence. Not at a Fashion East show though! People cheer and wolf-whistle and stand up and clap their little hearts away and I swear, I saw someone punch the air today'.

Obviously a resounding success, perhaps not so much at Erdem where Georgiou states that Erdem Moralioglu's 'dark mood this season' was presented with 'familiar, and rather worrying, notes from Hitchcock’s Psycho' adding to the collections intrigue but concluding with a clear instruction. 'Don’t be afraid of the dark, Erdem!'.
