Last week we were thrilled to have Vogue's fashion director Lucinda Chambers in the studio to talk fashion with Lou Stoppard as part of our In Fashion series. The absorbing interview covered a plethora of topics from Chambers' route into the industry and her early position as an assistant to Grace Coddington, to what makes an amazing fashion photograph.
When describing her styling approach, Chambers disclosed, 'It never starts with clothes. I love clothes and I have a passion for clothes, but it starts with a picture that I want - the picture that I think would be inspiring if I was a Vogue reader. It’s a story I want to tell, not a dress I want to sell, if that makes sense.'
