Our Úna Burke cabinet is taking shape!

Following on from our very first SHOWcabinet with the incredible Daphne Guinness, the talented Úna Burke is in our Motcomb Street studios hard at work installing our second cabinet of wonders!

For April's SHOWcabinet, our re-imagined gallery space, we present objects under the theme of prosthetics. Focusing on the original Greek meaning of the word 'prosthetic', which meant 'to add', 'to advance' or 'to give power to', the pieces on show engage with prosthetics' ability to adorn, equip and enhance.

Burke's signature leather sculptures will be forming the foundation for the installation. Formed of hundreds of strips of leather, bound together with exquisite craftsmanship, the inanimate bodies resemble orthopedic braces and suits of armour.

Ahead of its opening, take a glance over this exciting project, as we continue to install the mesmerising works!
