Read All About It!

Further to our earlier anticipatory update, we finally got our grubby mits on a copy of the new Yves Saint Laurent Manifesto this morning - handed out by one of YSL’s charming representatives over Brick Lane way - and really felt it was worth a blog. Over-A4 sized, subtly glossy and featuring previously unpublished images (of Kate Moss, no less) from the YSL spring 2008 campaign shot by Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin, this is one freebie we wouldn’t mind paying for…

Luckily, you don’t have to! Thirty Yves Saint Laurent ‘Ambassadors’ have been strategically placed around London today and tomorrow to distribute Stefano Pilati’s Manifesto and message for the new season to the masses. Over a million copies of the Manifesto are due to be distributed across the globe between now and April 19, but demand is already high.

If you want to get your own before supplies dwindle, the Manifesto is being handed out all over London. In Central London, you can get your hand on one at Oxford Circus, Bond Street, Covent Garden or Piccadilly Circus. East-end boys can grab one on Brick Lane in Shoreditch, while out West you can grab them in the civilised climes of Kensington, Notting Hill or Chelsea. Very egalitarian.
