Reflecting the diversity displayed on the catwalks, our award-winning collections feeds are the perfect place to rediscover the best of the vibrant and varied Autumn/Winter 2013 season. In addition to catwalk images and show reports our real-time coverage captures backstage moments and front row observations via tweets and Instagram imagery. Fashion illustrations created exclusively for SHOWstudio by Jowy Maasdamme, Fiona Gourlay, Amelie Hegardt and Candybird add an artistic interpretation and round off our holistic view of the international shows.
Autumn/Winter 2013 was the season Alexander Wang debuted at Balenciaga, John Galliano worked with Oscar de la Renta and Hedi Slimane left critics confused at Saint Laurent. Tom Odell accompanied a choir at Burberry Prorsum whilst Anthony and The Johnsons played for Givenchy. There were crowns at Dolce and Gabbana, fur mohawaks at Fendi and even plastic bags turned into headwear at Louise Gray.
Competing for set of the season, Chanel and Louis Vuitton showcased a giant rotating globe and a luxurious hotel corridor respectively. Marc Jacobs added to the season's memorable moments when he stepped out at the end of the Louis Vuitton show wearing red pyjamas by the Chapman Brothers. Still championing nightwear for daytime, Jacobs and his PJs took a front row seat at Miu Miu, the penultimate show of the season.
