Gareth Pugh and Ruth Hogben's collaborative relationship has produced an array of stunning imagery. From Raquel Zimmerman lasciviously exhaling smoke in Joie de Vivre to this otherworldly vision for Pitti Immagine #79, Pugh's wonderfully decadent, gothic collections find their optimal counterpart in Hogben's evocative visual vocabulary.
Following the kaleidoscopic monochrome visions that are so ardently associated with Pugh, Hogben provided exclusive backstage coverage at the designer's Autumn/Winter 2013 show. Championing Pugh's treasure to tragedy tale and rejecting the conventional forms of backstage coverage, Hogben concentrated on the complete looks of the collection whilst exploring the eerie narrative behind this season's garments. Hogben's images are now exclusively available on SHOWstudio.
Be sure to recap on the duo's other creative endeavours too, including their work for Pugh's M.A.C. capsule collection, Autumn/Winter 2008 and 2009, plus Spring/Summer 2010, 2011 and 2012 collections.
