Simon Chilvers talks punk jumpers

Check out our latest Punk: On the Runway call for a 'it knit' fashion history lesson from Simon Chilvers, Matchesfashion.com's men's style director. 'There's nothing like a good jumper', says Chilvers, while reminiscing about Johnny Rotten's striped mohair number, worn back in 1976.

'Punk has had a massive influence way beyond anything to do with just nose studs and safety pins,' explains Chilvers. Indeed, you can see reproduction of Rotten's jumpers on runways as diverse as Marc by Marc Jacobs, Marni and Junya Watanabe.
