Helen Bullock has braved the cold weather and snow to cover the very last of Paris collections. Her illustration for Comme des Garcons seen here was from the collections she covered last week, along with KRISVSNASSCHE, Maison Martin Margiela, Givenchy and Dior Homme.
The illustrator and textile designer says that covering the menswear collections has been a really positive learning experience and exposed her to designers she would not have otherwise engaged with in such detail. She divulges that, 'you always need to start out with an intention' and sometimes the artworks translate differently from that intention. Through the organic and spontaneous strokes of colour, the artworks grow and develop into what they want to be, rather than controlling every detail.
Today, 20 Sunday 2013 will see Helen illustrate outfits from Lanvin and Thom Browne. The last of her illustrations for these two exciting collections and throughout the day on the Tumblr and collections pages. Do not miss out on the last of the illustrations covering menswear the Autumn/Winter 2013 season.
