Show Report
The humorous antics of the collection wavered between boys in pants to boys in nightgowns and bathrobes all wrapped up in a nautical theme.
When is too much flesh just too much? Alexis Mabille managed to show more bare skin than clothes in his collection entitled ‘States of Undress’. The show began with models in white cargo pants, espadrilles, and t-shirts printed with "ALEXIS M'HABILLE" (Alexis dresses me) and the on next model with "ALEXIS ME DESHABILLE" (Alexis undresses me).
And that began the strip-a-thon as models disrobed their shirts and dropped their trousers to unveil Mabille's new underwear collection, created in collaboration with the underwear brand Hom.
The humorous antics of the collection wavered between boys in pants to boys in nightgowns and bathrobes all wrapped up in a nautical theme. When Mabille got to the clothes – they were fine – un-offensive and he offered lots of casual separates for a summer spent on the Med. Casual t-shirts, pants in checks and stripes and navy suiting were all cool and covetable.
