Cockerel feathers lined collars and accessories and added exuberance to the restrained presentation.
For her autumn winter 2010 collection, Ann Demeulemeester remained on familiar ground with her dark and romantic approach to menswear. This collection saw a return to more structured garments along with signature draping and tactile fabrics. The frock coat, waistcoat, and white shirt, all staples of Demeulemeester's collections, made appearances as colours of black and white were set against taupe and grey. Cockerel feathers lined collars and accessories and added exuberance to the restrained presentation. The collection was melancholy, something that is unique to Demeulemeester's presentations, but the clothes always connect with the audience through their warmth and familiarty.
