What mattered most at Calvin Klein Collection was that which was barely seen: a faint shorter hemline beneath a sheer skirt or a semicircle of bodice peeking from a jacket. The minimal black and white was a surprisingly nuanced palette at the hands of Francisco Costa as his layered fabrics could pass for new color shades.

The minimal black and white was a surprisingly nuanced palette at the hands of Francisco Costa as his layered fabrics could pass for new color shades. Black tuxedo pant ticking on white suiting or white on black provided a little embellishment as did laser cut overlays masquerading as a more luxurious sister of print. Most lovely though, was the undertone of seduction. There were hints of what lies beneath throughout the collection: conical bras drawing attention to the decollete and sheer panels exposing the stomach otherwise staid dresses. This is how sexy is best - subtle. Cheers to Lara Stone for helping champion what may be Calvin Klein Collection's new erogenous zone.
