Sculpted exploration about the private sphere of a woman at @dior haute couture
Stephanie LaCava reports on the Christian Dior couture show
Report by Stephanie LaCava .
There's been a murmur that shows would be smaller this season. And so far, it seems true. Take Dior's, not one, but three shows, held within a white, sculptural salon. All the clothes were best admired up close, for their delicacy of handiwork, as if someone in the atelier had taken a scalpel and carefully traced away shape after shape, hundreds of half moons or diamonds, like over blown eyelet lace.
