Patchwork denim, anorak shirts with hoods and terry toweling jumpers were all stamped with logos, a distinctive Shannon quip at branded sportswear.
Since his MA in menswear at Central Saint Martins, Liverpool born Christopher Shannon has carved out a niche with his distinct masculine, fashion sportswear. Taking up the previous mantle held by Kim Jones, Shannon successful succeeds to move his sportswear forward each season without loosing its distinct roots.
This season, entitled ‘Alpine Dalstano’, Shannon was inspired by the extreme weather that has recently hit Britain and also his envy of his brothers ski wear. Capri Ski meets street wear produced pixilated paisley prints on solid and functional sportswear. Patchwork denim, anorak shirts with hoods and terry toweling jumpers were all stamped with logos, a distinctive Shannon quip at branded sportswear.
With a transparent focus to design commercially minded, sports orientated menswear, with high end detailing, Shannnon continues to propel British menswear forward with an upfront and candid vision.
