Alfred Dunhill's heritage is never far from Jones' references as the designer is committed to creating a contemporary wardrobe for the Dunhill customer.
Kim Jones for Dunhill presented a light, tailoring focused collection for spring / summer 2011. Inspired by the 20's Bloomsbury Set, Jones offered a refined collection with the English gent in mind. Alfred Dunhill's heritage is never far from Jones' references as the designer is committed to creating a contemporary wardrobe for the Dunhill customer. Light grey suits, belted coats and suede jackets were cut into elegant slim shapes and will appeal to a youthful audience. Although the focus of this collection was tailoring, Jones has succeeded in creating an elegant and relaxed aesthetic that has roots in Dunhill's heritage but feels appropriate for contemporary fashion.
