Hats were the focal point at Gaultier's winter collection as Sam Spade Fedoras topped the heads of a devilish pack of models the designer has captured for the occasion. Suggesting an under-current of criminal activities, Gaultier’s collection referenced Sherlock Holmes and the darker side of London’s past.

With tailoring as a base, Gaultier send out layered coats and long shirts worn over long skirts and tailored pants. A brick-patterned suit suggested London streets while camouflage prints on sportswear ensured the collection was a medley of Gaultier signature pieces that blended both smart and street inspired clothing.

Layering was a key theme as several garments were piled on top of each other and ensured any distinct style references were subverted with yet another layer. For the finale, Gaultier tipped his hat, and the models followed suit and threw theirs into the audience.
