The cut and structure were high concept with contrasting neon or mesh panels and vents and so was the message. Here was a full on runway show - and not Y3 - with silver cyborg helmets and sneakers as accessories and not one conventional evening dress. Was Watanabe yawning at street style culture, poking fun at all that posing?
