The modern approach was unfortunately over-worked and although being well executed, it felt cold and rigid.
Korean designer Juun J presented a super modern take on tailoring with his collection entitled ‘Deviated.’ Taking sharp suiting and slicing through it, Juun J deconstructed lapels and intersected them with contrasting colours and fabrics.
Futuristic models with black sculptured hair marched the runway with their collars decorated with gold zippers and sweaters slashed at the waistband to show gaping holes. Asymmetric platforms on chunky shoes were clumsy and gold metal cuffs were try-hard.
The modern approach was unfortunately over-worked and although being well executed, it felt cold and rigid. Positively the finale of brightly coloured parkas bought a refreshing and unpretentious end to the show.
