Kenzo designer Antonio Marras has the ability to make clothes that reference the original Kenzo aesthetic while looking forward to dressing a contemporary man. For winter Marras was inspired by the idea of a British detective and this smart casual genre also adheres to the Kenzo signature. The classics of British elegance are explored by Marras throught his characters including the gentleman farmer, the London bad boy, city boys and butlers. As seen on many catwalks the jacket was central to the collection and Marras has an expert hand in cutting and construction. Knit wear also continued to be strong for Kenzo as contrasting textures and colours offered rich picking for next winter. What seemed a vast collection, Marras could could have edited down to create an stronger and more defined message.
