An inherently Lanvin collection, the clothes epitomised the subtle way Ossendrijver is able to fuse modern clothes with a nostalgic edge.
Lanvin has become the menswear label that often defines the mood for the season ahead. Designer Lucas Ossendrijver continues to follow his current favour of mixing formal with casual, sportswear with tailoring to great effect. This union which defines Lanvin is a core trend this season and Ossendrijver successfully blends the two themes producing easy clothes that are commercial, elegant and precious to the touch. Lanvin's clothes are functional and practical and it is this approach that allows the designer to concentrate on creating dynamic clothes that put the individual at the centre of the collection. Wool trench coats, boxy suit jackets and wide trousers were simply elegant and fastened with magnetic buttons to enhance the performance angle. In contrast puffer jackets were worn with ultra slim pants, as different silhouettes offered alternatives. An inherently Lanvin collection, the clothes epitomised the subtle way Ossendrijver is able to fuse modern clothes with a nostalgic edge. Lanvin appeals to men of all ages as its aesthetic allows individuals to appropriate the required look with ease.
