There was a certain sexiness to these looks that was lost in last season's structured silhouettes.
Let's talk first about the hair. Just when we thought crazy colors were tired (dip dye ends! and candy pink!), Eugene Souleiman gave us a new version, slicked back and neon streaked, namely in orange, green, blue, white and pink. This set the mood for the clothes, alluring, swinging examples of Narciso Rodriguez's signature minimalism and geometric designs. There was a certain sexiness to these looks that was lost in last season's structured silhouettes. Slinky fabrics contributed to this, as well as the racerback bra top, which reappeared throughout the collection. The palette didn't stray far from favorites like black, white, turquoise and red, but there were surprises, like an abstract jacquard print and infusion of velvet and satin devore, which made for breezy, light pieces.
