The thing about being Victoria Beckham and being a fashion designer is you can sort through cool girl clothing conundrums like how exactly to get your leather pants to stay pulled tight to the ankle as if tucked into your heels. This problem was solved on the runway this morning with slick pants that attached beneath the step of the shoe. These were sometimes layered with dresses, which made it all the more essential to keep the line of the leg smooth. Aside from black leather there was also a blond scale skin version, part of the second color grouping that included white grey and amethyst parachute parkas, as well. The latter continued Beckham's new embrace of easy silhouettes, which started last season. Still, her first looks were tailored dresses predominantly navy, white and orange with utility straps at the neck in contrast to basket weave paneled pieces with drop waists and pleated skirts. Perhaps Beckham's recent pregnancy led her to embrace a wide ribbon lace up flat, a surprise from a woman known for her heels. As for purses, a creamsicle crocodile bag stood out against a blue dress tucked up close under a model's arm. The best looks were a mix of color blocked black and navy - that and those perfect leather pants.
