Stephanie LaCava reports on the Viktor & Rolf show
Through the looking glass onto a jagged patterned black and white floor came models with crimped hair in floor length dresses prepared to abandon Paris for old Hollywood.
The Viktor and Rolf invitation features a woman staring at an old school handheld mirror, the same accessory that would end up as part of the runway. Through the looking glass onto a jagged patterned black and white floor came models with crimped hair in floor length dresses prepared to abandon Paris for old Hollywood. Strong evening silhouettes were imagined in soft celluloid colors: silver lame, black, white, coral, rose champagne silver lame and grey lavender. There was the signature bow, rose, and then again that mirror shattered all over the finale look.
