Aganovich
Aganovich is a Whitechapel-based womenswear label designed by Nana Aganovich. The conceptual narratives within the brand are devised by Brooke Taylor, a former writer. In 2002, when Taylor met Aganovich, he used to spin exotic stories of international conspiracy and feminine intrigue to impress Aganovich. The stories revolved around a clownish femme fatale alter ego known as Sisi Bogdanovich. This exchange evolved into a working model for the Aganovich collections where Taylor continues to devise narratives within which Aganovich can evoke her aesthetic.
Aganovich is a BA graduate of the Dansk Designskol and an MA graduate of Central Saint Martins. Taylor has contributed writings to international literary and fashion magazines including Purple, Dune, Ryuko Tsushin, Big and Colors among others.
Aganovich has shown its collections at Paris Fashion Week since October 2009. The brand is represented by Alexandre Boulais of People's Revolution Paris PR.
