Alberto Korda

Alberto Korda, born Alberto Díaz Gutiérrez in 1928, Havana, Cuba, was a Cuban photographer, and most famously, the official personal photographer to Fidel Castro, after the 1959 Cuban Communist Revolution.

Korda's most enduring and recognisable image, is the iconic shot he took in 1960 of Che Guevara, whose original title was 'Guerillero Heroico', that became a worldwide symbol of revolution and rebellion.
