Alexander Fury is fashion editor of The Independent, i and The Independent on Sunday. He was editor of LOVE magazine and thelovemagazine.co.uk from 2012-2013. Prior to this, Fury held the position of fashion director at SHOWstudio from 2008-2012.

Following his foundation in art at Manchester Metropolitan University, Fury studied Fashion History and Theory at Central Saint Martins in London. In 2006 and 2007, Fury acted as curator on the exhibition Princess Line - The Fashion Legacy of Princess Margaret at Kensington Royal Palace and worked with fashion designer Marios Schwab.

Fury has contributed as a journalist to a number of magazines, websites and newspapers including Style.com/Print, Vogue Japan, Fantastic Man, 10, 10Men, ELLE and ELLE Collections.

Fury consults for various brands and individuals including the BBC and the University of the Arts, most recently working as creative consultant for London designer Mary Katrantzou since 2010. He also sits on the panel for London College of Fashion's Centre for Fashion Enterprise scheme and is a member of the British Fashion Council's NEWGEN selection panel.
