Alexandre Farto

Alexandre Farto is a Portuguese street artist who lives and works in both London and Lisbon. Known also by the tag Vhils, he has been creating art since the age of 13. He grew up in Spain and came to London in 2007 to study at Central Saint Martins.

Farto's work includes collaborating on the Akademia Europeia de Hip Hop project created by the Khapaz Association in collaboration with Lacos de Rua, Freestylaz and Encontros. He is also the co-ordinator and promoter of the workshop and wall painting included in the Alagoas District urban regeneration project in Brazil.

Farto has exhibited in a number of shows in and around Spain and Lisbon.
