Anders Christian Madsen is a fashion writer based in London. Raised in Denmark, Madsen trained at the London College of Fashion where he sidelined his studies with a position in menswear PR for nearly three years. Upon graduation in 2009, he joined Dansk Magazine where he served as senior editor until 2012, when he joined i-D as fashion features editor.
Next to i-D, Madsen has contributed to a number of publications including Hero, Nylon, common&sense and Zoo, and in 2011, he edited the autumn/winter issue of Varón Magazine. He has been involved in consultancies for the likes of Elite Model Management and Muscat Fashion Week, and continues to work on a number of consultative and commercial projects, both within copywriting and PR. An avid supporter of young designers, he has provided written words for a string of talent including James Long, Louise Amstrup and William Richard Green. In 2017, he joined BritishVogue under Edward Enninful.
