Anj Smith is an artist. She studied at Slade School of Fine Art and at Goldsmiths College in London. Smith's work has been exhibited at Knoxville Museum of Art in Tennessee, and the Hudson Valley Center for Contemporary Art in Peekskill, New York. She is behind solo exhibitions such as Woods Without Pathways at Galerie Isa (2012), The Flowering of Phantoms at Hauser & Wirth in New York (2013), and Anj Smith at Mostyn in Britain. In 2006, she was shortlisted for the MaxMara Award for Women, at the Whitechapel Art Gallery in London.
