Charles Nartey Mezo is a film editor based in West Africa. Whilst studying for a Diploma in Film and Television Editing at The National Film and Television Institute (NAFTI) in Ghana, he received an award at the 1997 African Students Film Festival for his documentary â€˜Baamayaâ€™. After graduating in 1998, Mezo worked as a production manager and editor at Avid, the West African representative for the Cable & Satellite Network. During this time, he was also involved in â€˜Celebration 2000â€™, a programme based on Ghanaina fashion designer Kofi Ansah. Mezo is currently the CEO and in-house editor for Shuttle Pro Studio, a post-production house for TV dramas â€˜Sun Cityâ€™ and â€˜Yes Matronâ€™.
