Charles Nartey Mezo

Charles Nartey Mezo is a documentary filmmaker and multimedia editor based in West Africa. Whilst studying for a Diploma in Film and Television Editing at the National Film and Television Institute (NAFTI) in Ghana, he received an award at the 1997 African Students Film Festival for his documentary Baamaya. After graduating in 1998, Mezo worked as a production manager and editor at Avid, the West African representative for the Cable & Satellite Network. During this time, he was also involved in Celebration 2000, a programme based on Ghanaian fashion designer Kofi Ansah. Mezo is currently the chief executive officer at Rhythm of the Arts, a multimedia company that works closely with other advertising agencies to deliver high quality media content for social development communication.
